WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
Children in Tasmania, ages 3-18, who understand, are interested in learning, or love speaking Nepali.
WHAT TO EXPECT?
#TALENT SHOW: Dancing, singing, music, emceeing, arts, storytelling, poetry, drama, and more—anything with a Nepali vibe! Please note that only Nepali songs are encouraged for the performances.
#DRESS THEME: Kids are encouraged to wear Radha Krishna or Nepali cultural attire.
#Special Guests: Younger siblings are welcome to join in the festivities dressed as Krishna and Radha.
HIGHLIGHTS
#Photo Opportunity: Capture the moment with a special Krishna Janmashtami ambiance and a beautifully decorated jhula (swing) for photos.
#Kid-Emcees: The event will be hosted by kid emcees! If your child would like to be an emcee, please let us know.
#Prizes: Special award for the “Best Costume of the Day.”
This is a free event for families. While attendance is complimentary, we appreciate a gold coin donation to help support the event.
