Our Events

Every Year, City of Hobart and Myer organises Christmas Pageant in Hobart which has a participation of more than 50 different communities and groups. As every year, Nepali Society of Tasmania represented Nepal on this event.

We are very proud to share our status as the Lord Mayor’s Award Winner of Myer Christmas Pageant 2023. Among more than 50 entries from different community, Nepali Society of Tasmania was selected for the most prestigious award, 2^nd year in a row. At the Pageant, we showcased different ethnic groups of Nepalese Community, traditional musical instruments, Pulukisi (white elephant), Machindranath Rath. On this occasion, I would like to pass my special thanks to Naomi Marantelli, who always helps us bring our ideas in to physical form and built Pulukisi and Machindranath as per our request.
